São Salvador Alimentos was founded in 1981, in Itaberaí, Goiás, a region known for its strong agricultural roots. Our journey began with a simple, yet profound mission: to bring nutritious, high-quality poultry products to Brazilian families. Over the years, we’ve grown from a modest poultry farm into one of Brazil’s leading food companies, with a strong presence in both domestic and international markets.

Our Operations

SSA operates through two key brands: SuperFrango and Boua. Both brands represent our commitment to offering consumers premium quality products. SuperFrango, known for its range of fresh and frozen poultry products, has become a household name in Brazil. Boua, our newer brand, extends our product range to processed foods, including sausages, nuggets, and other ready-to-eat meals that meet the changing needs of modern consumers.

Our fully integrated production process ensures quality at every stage, from hatcheries and farms to processing plants and distribution. We own and control every part of our supply chain, allowing us to maintain the highest standards of food safety and quality.
